Jim is an associate broker with Tomlinson Black, the largest real estate firm in the inland northwest. He has also served as a consultant and trainer for Tomlinson Black Affiliate Services and has won national awards for marketing, in addition to being cited in Remodeling Magazine. Jim is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and a Residential Marketing Master (RMM).

As a boy, Jim spent a lot of time with his mom and dad at their real estate company, Home Sales, Inc. in Tacoma. You could say real estate is in his blood. Over the years, he's seen hundreds of satisfied clients in the family business and hundreds more over the past 12 years in his own career. Customer satisfaction is no accident. There's a certain confidence knowing someone is watching out for you. Real Estate has become more complicated in recent years and knowing the right paths to follow and pit falls to avoid takes a combination of experience, education and common sense. The trust and confidence you feel when you work with Jim stems from a whole-hearted commitment to do what is best for you.

Second to our family, there is nothing we hold more dearly or treasure more highly than our home. Understanding your needs and the importance of buying or selling your home is nothing more than you'd expect from Jim Wilson.

Jim holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Washington State University as-well-as studying business administration at Seattle Pacific University and the University of Washington. For 10 years, he owned and managed a food distribution enterprise.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jim is active in the community. He has been appointed by the mayor to sit on the City of Spokane Planning Commission. Currently, Jim is on the executive committee for L'Arche Spokane, an international organization dedicated toward assisting developmentally disabled adults to live in group homes geared to the Christian values of faith, hope, love, peace, simplicity of life, forgiveness, celebration and welcome. Jim is also part of the planning unit of the Local Watershed Planning program involved in the management of water resources of the Spokane Watershed. In the past, he was part of the Parks and Recreation Sub-Committee for the Northwest Neighborhood Council, a member of the Government Affairs Committee and a former chairman of the Steering Committee for the Spokane Association of Realtors.

But, mostly, as Jim says, "I am my kids' dad." He coaches several teams in both football and basketball but considers his role as husband and father his primary vocation.
